Torrent 111
I bought this to replace a very worn pintail jacket( Ridgeline) it felt very comfortable from the start. It has kept me dry during some short showers but has not yet been tried in a downpour. A couple of disappointments, the zip is a cheaper, more flimsy one than the Pintail had despite this being the more expensive jacket and also they have skimped on the zipped chest pocket I use to put my phone in . It’s too shallow to take the I phone without pulling the Zip up to hold it . The Pintail pocket was fine. What a shame to marr a jacket to save a few pence on a cheap zip and a little fabric.

Just what I was looking for. A really comfortable dog walking jacket. I got the original Teak but I might get the new Bark too!

Torrent iii review
Good looking coat for a start. Good length, warm and plenty of pockets. Been out a few times in wet conditions and it’s fine. Yet to try it in a downpour. If I had to make one small criticism that would be the main zip. It could do with being a bit stronger, as it’s quite easy to mismatch the teeth resulting in a few tedious minutes fixing the issue. Other than that I’m very happy with both the coat, and the service from Cherrytree.
