Hoggs field sport wellies
Bought after my old Seeland wellies developed a leak , these Hoggs are a good sturdy but comfy wellie , the way they fit at the heel means you definitely need to use the kick spur to get these off . These wellies are really well made using quality materials , nice thick rubber , good Vibram sole . They also benefit from having a neoprene lining , always my first must have when buying wellies , very happy with my purchase & service from cherry tree.

Bought as a gift
Ordering and delivery were faultless, so no complaints there. They have been bought as a gift and though I can appreciate the quality, they look great, I can't really comment on the product itself. Now the complaint....sorry. As I've said I have bought these as a gift and as such I was very disappointed in the condition of the packaging. The box looked as though it had been previously delivered and returned, it was extremely battered, and not just as a result of one delivery. The tissue inside, wrapped around the boots, was all ripped. Very disappointed, but nothing I could do as they were for an imminent birthday. It looks as though I'm giving a second hand product. Not a good image for what looks to be a good boot. First impressions count, so a fail there.

Excellent wellie
This is the second pair I have bought after a lifetime search for the perfect wellie. Says it all, really. Comfortable to walk long distances with the dog over testing terrain: easy to remove thanks to the reinforced heel spur...... just bash it against the doorstep and pull. First pair lasted a year until they started leaking at the bend of the foot, so I would have been happier if they had lasted longer, obviously, but still felt I wanted to repeat the purchase.

Good Value
I have worn those well branded wellington boots for years that used to be made in Scotland! You probably know the brand I am talking about. Now they are mainly made in China I fear the quality has dropped and the last two pairs I have owned have been disappointing. I read good reviews about these Hoggs of Fife boots so i decided to try them and I must say for the price they are very well made and also very comfortable straight out of the box. I have only just started to wear them so time will tell but so far I am very impressed. They are a good solid boot with good Vibram soles that have good tread and very good internal cushioning in the foot bed. I take a size 8 and they are very slightly big which gives me plenty of room to wiggle toes but also gives me the opportunity to wear thicker socks if needed. They are heavier than other boots I have owned but it is not a problem. They are somewhat difficult to remove although they have a heel stub but i find you really need a boot puller to make them easier to remove. All in all very pleased but as I said time will tell but I am very hopeful!!

So far so good
I am very impressed with these wellies. They are very comfortable and tough. I needed wellingtons to cope with lambing season and these fit the bill perfectly. well worth the extra expense. Only slight downside is they can be too warm, especially when you are working hard all day.

Early Days but they do seem to be well made & comfortable for the money with others I have looked at
Took a while to chose these after sending others back (different suppler). Thank you Beth for all your help and knowledge, I think the video you made of each welly was a great idea. Many thanks Beth.

Your feet go in them
They are Wellington boots that you put your feet into and they keep them dry and warm. Amazing invention and can't think why someone hasn't thought of these before. Next someone will come up with a machine that slices bread.

good quality boots
Good quality wellies . A bit tight at first around the ankle but sure they will loosen up after a few wears.

Nice fit
A wellington I got a half size bigger to accomadate thicker walking socks. Very comfy in foot pad and sidewalks are thicker. I would say I like the grip very well and would say are best suited to winter conditions due to wall thickness and heat retention. A nice variation in colour than usual pale types. Still to evaluate longevity.

Great Boots!
Bought these boots for walking by the river and for fishing trips. Very comfortable boots and neoprene lining means their warm so ideal for the colder months.
