The Grisport Excalibur walking boot is a lightweight and waterproof walking boot for women. This boot is extremely comfortable straight out the box - so no (or very little) breaking in needed. The spo-tex waterproof and breathable membrane repels water helping to keep your feet dry all day.
The five layer sole unit offers mid-sole protection which helps to absorb impact pain and the ankle support system locks the ankle in place reducing the likelyhood of ankle twisting.

Uncomfortable & unpleasant
Ordered a size 38 for a US size 7, but boot was way too large coupled with a very uncomfortable and extremely painful fit; boots also did not provide any water-proof protection. Right ankle twisted after about 45 minutes of walking on semi-hilly terrain. Did not return as return-shipping from the US are exorbitant; notified company, but they were not concerned. Company response: We were extremely concerned about this situation and we are unsure why the customer thinks differently. It appears that the customer unfortunately chose the wrong size when she ordered. We pride ourselves on customer service at all times.
