Beautifully, handcrafted Hazel knobstick in Somerset using traditional coppicing methods.
Coppicing is an old tradition where cane makers take advantage of trees that produce new growth from the stump or roots from trees such as Ash, Hazel and Blackthorn trees. This method of woodland management is therefore kind to the environment.
The materials used for the Hazel Knobstick cane is grown and harvested at Classic Canes' forest in Somerset. The wood is harvest, allowed to dry, straightened and finished by hand to produce a unique elegent cane.
